Chaque rencontre, chaque pays traversé, chaque image entrevue, chaque émotion éprouvée participe à sa création.
Sculptures et sanguines forment un tout, une démarche globale

En 1992, ce sont les pierres blondes d'une maison de Bourgogne qui la retiennent.

Elle se consacre alors pleinement à son oeuvre.
Trois à quatre expositions personnelles lui sont dediées chaque année en France (AGalerie de l'Alpage-Megeve, Galerie du Dauphin - Honfleur,)

Le voyage intérieur n'est pas fini, celui de ses oeuvres non plus.

Serge Ivanoff is a Russian painter.

The son of a family of Moscovite merchants, Serge Ivanoff was artistic from a young age. On his parents' move to St. Petersburg he took the opportunity for further studies, and contact with Europe. In 1917, while the Russian Revolution raged, he entered what was then the Higher Arts College of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture at the Imperial Academy of Arts. In 1920, his wife, with their two children, fled the Bolsheviks to Paris. Two years later, having finished his studies and forever marked by the horrors of the revolution, Serge joined them in Paris.

Henri Gervex was a French painter born in Paris, and studied painting under Alexandre Cabanel,

Pierre-Nicolas Brisset and Eugène Fromentin.

His early work belonged almost exclusively to the mythological genre,

which served as an excuse for the painting of the nude, but not always in the best of taste.

His Rolla of 1878, based on a poem by Alfred de Musset,

was rejected by the jury of the Salon de Paris for immorality,

since it depicted a scene from the poem of a naked prostitute after having sex with her client.

He began drawing at an early age.

He was particularly interested in fashion, and became famous for his sketches almost immediately.

He worked for major design studios at a time when fashion was undergoing a radical change-from

the fussiness of the late nineteenth century to the simple, clingy lines of the early twentieth century.

He was first son of Jean and Elisabeth Icart and was officially named Louis Justin Laurent Icart.

The use of his initials L.I. would be sufficient in this household.

Therefore, from the moment of his birth he was dubbed 'Helli'.

The Icart family lived modestly in a small brick home on rue Traversière-de-la-balance,

Dal 1824 si trasferisce in palazzo Giustiniani a Venezia,

dove costituirà una celebre galleria d'arte e continuerà una intensissima produzione pittorica,
